Never in my wildest dreams did I think I was going to go to Ireland this year. To be honest, it wasn’t even on my list. This is how it went down…. My sister Melissa, mentioned the possibility of traveling to Ireland for a work conference in September.

Mind you, all this talk about this trip was happening around June/July only a couple of months prior. She also told me it would be around the same time as her birthday!  Which, if you have been following me for a bit, you know I am ALL about treating yourself, especially on your birthday!

It didn’t take much convincing and it helped that the flight was affordable too! One thing led to the other, we started talking to our friends, and then BOOM we were a group of FIVE women signed up to head to Ireland! Yep, you read that right, five.

This was very different for me. For one, I hadn’t traveled with a group that wasn’t family for a couple of years now. Two, although I knew everyone who was going on this trip, I had not traveled with everyone on this trip. While traveling with friends can be amazing it can also be a nightmare listen to my podcast episode here where I break down THREE things you should talk about, before any trip.

Ireland is full of magic. I am going to do my darn best to describe some of my highlights in this blog but in case you want more details I have created an Ireland Guide with ALL my direct links and more detailed information that you can purchase here

For starters we road trip around all of Ireland. Yep, literally DROVE around the whole country! S/O to my sister Melissa! FYI you drive on the left side, so it takes a couple of days to get used to, and the streets are pretty NARROW, but you get the hang of it!  The only part we didn’t get to visit was Northern Ireland, so I will definitely be going back!

These are my 7 highlights from my road trip in Ireland with direct links that tell you more about the location. Enjoy!
