A true full-circle moment. The Early Identification Program played a huge role in helping me navigate my path to college as a first-gen student.

Being invited back as a keynote speaker in 2020 isn’t just an honor, it’s a responsibility. To pour back into the same spaces that once poured into me.

I don’t just share my story, I share the real, unfiltered steps it took to get here, so students can see what’s possible for them too.

If even one student walked away feeling more confident in their path, then I’ve done what I came to do.

Topics I Spoke About / What I Bring as a Keynote:

  • Navigating college as a first-generation, working-class Latina

  • Turning a non-linear path into purpose and opportunity

  • Building confidence when you’re the “first” in the room

  • Financial realities of college + finding creative ways to make it work

  • The power of community, mentorship, and asking for help

  • Creating your own opportunities when doors don’t exist
